We need your help getting more reviews out there.
Nothing is stronger than word of mouth, and reviews are an important part of any buying process. We want authentic posts that are clear about not just the pros, but the occasional con too. We know our marketplace isn't as big as WordPress’s. It’s fair that newer features under the hood that need better documentation. No system is without it’s real challenges, and we want you to be flattering but frank in your review.
We recognize this takes real time, and time is money. That’s why we’re digging deep to show you how much this means to us. There’s 5 sites below that could all use your compelling review. Some of them are offering their own incentives, so you’ll get paid as you go. To top that, for anyone who fills all 5 review sites out and submits proof will earn $100 in marketplace credit.
TL; DR: Concrete’s intuitive, open-source platform makes site building, maintaining, and editing as straightforward as working with a word processor. The free content management system (CMS) was designed to be simple enough for employees who lack tech chops yet powerful enough to serve the complex needs of developers. Fans should keep an eye out for the release of Concrete Version 9 early next year, which will feature a revamped user interface centered on ease of use.
Portland OR, Oct. 15, 2020 – Concrete5, an open source content management system, today announced that it has been recognized as a champion in the 2020 Web Experience Management Emotional Footprint report from SoftwareReviews, a division of IT research and advisory firm Info-Tech Research Group. The award is based on the aggregate emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.
Summary: Chrome version 83.0.4103.61 broke concrete5 editing (and affected other CMSs), but there are two ways to fix this problem:
- the next Chrome update, version 83.0.4103.97, fixed the problem. If you have any problems editing or using concrete5 with the Chrome browser, please try updating to the latest version.
- an upgrade to concrete5, version 8.5.3, also fixed the problem. This update includes security fixes and other improvements, so you should update to the latests version when possible.
With all of the uncertain news I just wanted to briefly assure you that PortlandLabs and concrete5 are prepared and running smoothly.

We really would love to get your opinion. Best answers win stuff (including a new iPad!)
We’ve come to believe that a good systems workflow has to be totally clear for everyone. Looking at how our github issues and process have matured over the years, it is time for a cleanup.
Updated our Privacy Policy with some small changes describing what we already do to manage your data securely.
